Metro workers rewarded by Russian President and city authorities
To commemorate the 75-th anniversary of Moscow metro, President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and Moscow city government rewarded the most deserving metro workers. The solemn ceremony took place in Moscow metro headquarters on August 31, 2010. |

Moscow metro and Aeroexpress issue new travel cards
A new smart card allowing passengers to travel both in Moscow metro and on express trains to and from Moscow airports has come out. Developed by Moscow metro and Aeroexpress, the new travel card bears logos of both. It can now be bought in ticket offices of the main Moscow airports, namely Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetievo and will presumably be sold in metro stations later on. |

Best station duty manager competition
The final round of the “Best Moscow metro station duty manager” competition was held at Prospekt Mira station (radial line) from July,21 to July,22 in the frames of “Moscow Foremen” competition organized by the Moscow city government. |
