Moscow metro issues special tickets
The beginning of trial runs in Moscow metro dates back to January 25, 1935. To commemorate this event, Moscow metro issues 500 thousand special tickets for two rides. These tickets can be purchased in all Moscow metro ticket offices on January 25, 2010. |

Metro and Monorail fares to change January, 1
On December 15, 2009, the Moscow City Government has approved the changes to the fares of Moscow metro and Monorail transit system that are to go into effect on January 1, 2010.
