Opening date: 01.05.1957
The station was opened as a part of line section between Park Kultury and Sportivnaya.

Station design: three-vaulted deep-level station with pylons

Station architects: N.Bykova, I.Taranov, assisted by I.Gokhar-Kharmandaryan and Yu.Cherepanov
Vestibule architects: N.Bykovà, V.Ilina, N.Dyomchinskiy
Design engineer: Î.Sergeev

   The station features two rows of white marble pylons with green marble accents. The track walls are faced with glazed tiles of white and black colours and the walls of the escalator tunnels are white marble. The ceiling is lined with embossed asbestos-cement tiles. Wide cornices hide the lamps of the station. The floor is decorated with motifs of black, grey and red granite.

   Exit to: Luzhniki sports complex, Khamovnicheskiy Val and ulitsa 10-letia Oktyabrya.
