The station hall has an unusual three-track layout with two island platforms. Before the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War the station was planned as a part of a grandiose stadium. Three rows of tracks were were built to handle crowds from a nearby stadium which was never built for a number of reasons. Only two tracks of the station are used now. The columns of the station hall and the upper part of the track walls are faced with white marble, while the lower part is covered with brown ceramic tiles. Bas-reliefs by sculptor S.Rabinovich decorate the walls of the station. The two pillars closest to the exit stairs are adorned with statues of heroic partisans: Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya on the left and an elderly Partisan Matvey Kuzmin who led German soldiers to fatal bogs on the right. The circular ceiling niche at the foot of the stairs originally contained light fittings and a fresco by A.D.Goncharov, though this has not been preserved. Broad flights of steps made of granite lead to the ground-level vestibule. The staircase hall is decorated with the sculptural group Partisans (sculptor M.Manizer).
Exit to: Izmailovskoe shosse, Narodny prospect and Izmailovsky park.
