The station was opened on an acting line section between Park Pobedy and Kuntsevskaya. Station design: single-vaulted shallow station made of insitu reinforced concrete. Station architects: V.Volovich, S.Mezhenina, assisted by D.Khokhlov
Artist: I.Lubennikov. The station is located in Fili-Davydkovo district at the intersection of Kutuzovsky prospect and Starorublyovskoe shosse. The prospect over the station is going to be expanded in the future.
The vault will feature four big caissons which comprise smaller ones. The vault covers not only the station platform, but also the east vestibule and the granite staircase leading to the platform. There is a wonderful view of the platform from the vestibule balcony.
The 4.5 metres high track walls are faced with green «Verde Guatemala» marble and stainless steel and feature lamps illuminating the vault of the station. This will draw attention to the beautiful caissoned vault. The floor is paved with black «Verde Bahia» marble and so is the edge of the platform.
The theme of the station décor is a boulevard. The station hall features 3 benches and standard lamps in Art-Nouveau style, and the upper part of the track walls is decorated with wrought-iron lattices with floral design.
Three escalators join the western vestibule and the platform.
The staircases leading to the station have transparent pavilions above, and the stairs are heated in cold weather. The vestibules are equipped with elevators for the disabled. Exit to: Kutuzovsky prospekt, Starorublyovskoe shosse, ulitsa Gerasima Kurina, Slavyansky Bul’var.
