Opening date: 26.12.2009 The station opened as a section of Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. Station design: single-vaulted shallow station built of insitu reinforced concrete. Station architects: Vladimir Filippov, Svetlana Petrosyan, co-authors: Irina Petrova, Tatiana Silakadze, Svetlana Prytkova. The station is located in the namesake district at the intersection of Mitinskaya and Dubravnaya streets. The station is tiled with granite and marble. Light streams from shallow caissons making shades on the ceiling. There is a passage behind one of the track walls enabling the staff to get from one vestibule to the other and to change light bulbs in the vault niches. Besides the traditional bumpy line, platform edges feature warning lights. LED platform edge lights remind ordinary passengers and visually impaired people to keep a safe distance from the edge of the platform. The lights are «on», but when the train approaches the station, a special sound can be heard and the lights get dimmed. When the train leaves the station, the light turns on again. The LED line is fully integrated in the design of the station. For passengers’ convenience, ticket offices are located in the underground walkway instead of the station vestibule. Exit to: Mitinskaya ulitsa, Dubravnaya ulitsa.
