Opening date: 30.12.1975
The station was opened as a part of a line section between Oktyabr’skoe Pole and Planernaya.
Station design: single-vaulted shallow cast-in-situ station.

Design engineer: О.Sergeev
The station hall is faced with red marble and the walls are decorated with a geometrical pattern made of aluminum. The floor is paved with light-coloured marble and granite.
Exit to: Skhodnenskaya ulitsa, bulvar Yana Rainisa and Khimkinsky bulvar.
