Opening date: 01.03.1991 The station was opened as a part of a line section from Savelovskaya to Otradnoe.
Station design: single-vaulted deep-level station with reinforced concrete lining. The step-down substation and engineering and utility service rooms are located under the 282-metre long station.

The station hall is faced with light-coloured marble and has a dark floor paved with granite and marble. The end of the station hall is adorned with vases with flowers (artists M.Shorchev, L.Shorcheva). The centre of the hall features a row of columns decorated with hammered flowers. It’s the only single-vaulted deep-level station in Moscow metro.
Way out: via the north vestibule (opens at 5:25) up the escalators to Dmitrovskoe shosse, Timiryazevskaya station of the Monorail transport system, Timiryazevskaya railway station, ulitsa Yablochkova, ulitsa Fonvizina, «Molodyozhnaya» hotel.
