Opening date: 08.11.1983
The station was opened as a part of a line section between Serpukhovskaya and Yuzhnaya.

Station design: column-type three-vaulted shallow station built to the standard project.
The station features two rows of 26 columns.

Station architects: Ì.Trenin
Vestibule architects: Ì.Trenin
Design engineers: E.Chernyakova, Å.Êobzeva

   The theme of the station design is Environmental protection (artist S.Goryainov). The columns of the station hall are faced with anodized aluminum and dark Sadakhlo marble, and the track walls are lined with light brown Gazgan marble. The station hall is adorned with hammered aluminum panels.

Way out:
   via the north vestibule (opens at 5:35) up the staircase to Elektrolitny proyezd and Krivorozhskaya ulitsa.
