Opening date: 12.12.2001
The station was opened as a southbound extension of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya radial line.

Station design: single-vaulted shallow cast-in situ station.

Station architects: А.Orlov, А.Nekrasov, assisted by V.Sycheva
Design engineers: Т.Bogatova

   The track walls of the station are faced with grey marble and the floor is paved with grey and black marble. The station vault features a row of big caissons with lighting fixtures.

Way out:
   via the north vestibule (opens – on even-numbered days at 5:35, on odd-numbered days at 5:45) up the escalators to Varshavskoe shosse.
