Opening date: 30.08.2007 The station was opened as the first phase of construction of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line central section.
Station design: three-vaulted station with wide pillars. To strengthen the structure of the station a wall was made after every fourth column.

Trubnaya station is located under Trubnaya square, at the intersection of Tsvetnoy bul’var and Bul’varnoe koltso. The cornices, the portals and the track walls of the station are faced with polished light-coloured marble, while the columns as well as the inserts in the track walls and between the portals are made of dark green marble. The floor is reveted with polished slabs of dark green, black and light gray granite which form a geometric ornamental pattern repeating the pattern of the portals. The lighting in the central and platform halls is achieved by flourecsecent lamps that are hidden behind the portal cornices which unite every four passages between the central and the platform halls. The vaults of the station are covered with white fibereglass to offer extra hydroisolation. The decoration of the station is centered on the wooden benches adorned with ironwork and located between the column sections. The theme of the station décor is Moscow and small Russian towns that Muscovites like visiting, their images can be seen in the 12 stained glass windows by Z.Tsereteli over the benches (Rostov, Novgorod, Palekh, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Bogolyubovo, Yaroslavl and others). They are illuminated by lanterns in modernist style. The escalators in the south-eastern end of the station lead to an underground vestibule located under Tsvetnoy bul’var. Transfer to Tsvetoy Bulvar of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line can be made from the north-western end of the station.
