Opening date: 29.12.2007 The station was opened on an acting line section between Chkalovskaya and Trubnaya. Station design – tree-vaulted pylon-type deep-level station. Station architects: N.Shumakov, G.Mun, N.Shurygina, assisted by: Ya.Mun, N.Trusilova. Artist: I.Lubennikov. The track walls and the pylons of the station are faced with light-colored marble and the floor is paved with light-grey and black granite. The niches in the pylons of the central hall feature 24 panels made by artist Ivan Lubennikov. These panels show images of people, trees and places of interest of Bul’varnoe Kol’tso – monuments to Pushkin, Gogol’, Timiryazev etc. Each panel is an individual piece of work. A special method used in production of these panels makes them look brownish. This technology has never been used before. The station hall and the platform halls have luminescent lighting. The station provides junction of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line with the Sokol’nicheskaya and Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya lines. The western end of the station has a transfer to Turgenevskaya of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya line. In future it will also lead to an underground vestibule located under Turgenevskaya square near Prospekt Akademika Sakharova. The eastern end of the station links Chistye Prudy of the Sokol’nicheskaya line (to be commissioned in January, 2008). Exit to: Turgenevskaya ploshchad, Sretensky Bul’var, Chistoprudny Bul’var, Prospekt Akademika Sakharova.
