Opening date: 28.12.1995 The station was opened as a part of a line section between Chkalovskaya and Volzhskaya.
Station design: single-vaulted shallow trabeated station of pre-cast concrete built to an individual design. The vestibule and the platforms were initially built as one construction.

The station is named for the nearby Bolzhsky bul’var. New material was applied to face the track walls of the station, that was enameled aluminium of a white colour high up and red lower down. The station hall features unusual standard lamps and benches.
Way out: via the east vestibule (opens at 5:40) up the staircase to Krasnodonskaya ulitsa, Volzhsky bul’var, hospital №68. via the west vestibule (opens at 5:40) up the staircase to ulitsa Shkuleva.
