Opening date: 11.08.1969 The station was opened as a part of a line section between Avtozavodskaya and Kakhovskaya.
Station design: pillar-type three-vaulted shallow station made to the standard design. The station features two rows of 40 columns.

The station features two rows of octagonal columns faced with russet marble. The floor of the station is reveted with gray granite in the centre and labrodorite at the sides. The track walls are faced with white ceramic tiles and a strip of crimson ceramic tiles at the base. They are also decorated with metal plates depicting episodes from the Russian Civil War (sculptors V.Gorchakov, L. Soshinskaya, V.Karpov). The transfer to Sevastopolskaya station of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line was opened in 1983.
Exit to: Chongarsky bul’var, Simferopol’sky bulvar, ulitsa Kakhovka and Malaya Yushun’skaya.
