The station was opened as the second section of the new Filyovskaya line branch.

The interior of the station features light-coloured walls with dark marble base and dark granite floor. The station is illuminated by concealed luminescent lighting, LED lamps and original lanterns at escalator shafts.
To provide passenger safety a yellow stripe one meter away from the platform edge was made. The stripe lights up when there is no train at the station, and it gradually dies away as a train arrives.
The station hall and the platform halls are not as wide as in other deep-level stations, therefore the platforms look very narrow.
The station is located near Moskva-CITY Moscow international business centre and the third transport ring. In the future, the station will become a transfer point to a high-speed rail system that will link the City with the Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo International Airports.
